Running will seldom be the answer although one day it will be. Just not today. I used to enjoy running and hope to again real soon. Injuries can really set you back and healing can take months. What is bad is when you have an injury and not sure how it happened.
I have Achilles tendinitis. It’s an injury I have had for a while and I believe it happened from exercising. Right now I’m doing conservative therapies like cold compress, stretches, and the occasional pain relief medication. Hoping by the fall I will be running again. Running is better than therapy for me as it gives me a way to clear my head. I miss it.
